"...this is a topnotch American-rock record"

     -     Dan Bolles - Seven Days

     -    Relix Magazine Online

"Great lyrics, memorable melodies, and a classic rock sound you always loved and always will.  Roll down your windows, breathe in deep and sing out strong with the Riders"

F“Bruce Springsteen + Bob Dylan + Bruce Hornsby + The Band = The Riders”

    -       From The Future Music

"The bottom line is that the dude is good at what he does. And what he does is write pitch-perfect acoustic rock songs with a clear reverence for the roads his forbears traveled"

These are The Riders...

The Band:

Great bands are rarely just put together, they are earned. The Riders are no exception to this rule. Based on the dream that Rock'n'Roll music can still mean something; these musicians have come together and created a sound and feeling that has been absent for far too long.

The Songs:

Songwriting is not an issue for these guys; from stories of triumph, to the pain of heartache, and the road traveled while en route to both. They have been through it, and share it with you to make it seem as if you were right there when it all went down.

The Musicians:

Infused in this tight unit are true song craft and the ability to go beyond the expectations that are held for most musicians of today. The Riders are schooled musicians and the guys who have played dives.

Live:

With their exceptional songs and musicianship The Riders are lighting up stages across Southern California and reminding audiences how meaningful and fun Rock’n’Roll can still be!

The Album:

200 Miles From Everywhere...

Produced by Richie Podolor (Three Dog Night, Steppenwolf, Michelle Branch) & engineered by Bill Cooper (Ella Fitzgerald, John Mayall, Three Dog Night). Also contributing to the record is Wallflower & top session man Rami Jaffee (Keith Urban, Foo Fighters, Johnny Cash) on Piano, Hammond B3, & accordion.

Recorded in the spring of 2006 at American Recording Co. in Calabasas, CA using the same Analog Nieve recording console, B3, & piano used on so many #1’s over the past 50 years.

“BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN + BOB DYLAN + BRUCE HORNSBY + THE BAND = THE RIDERS.
Youngsters from LA, they sound wise beyond their years, or old for their age. This band could topple the likes of LOS LONELY BOYS or LOS LOBOS for the hot AC crown.”

“Here’s another band that if you know now, you can brag later about after they appear everywhere for years and years to come.”
